The Mission of the Aloha Piano Quartet is to promote classical chamber music and to support charitable musical and educational causes in the spirit of "Aloha."

The quartet takes its name “Aloha” as defined: “the breath of life.” According to the ancient Hawaiian kahunas (priests), living with the spirit of Aloha was a way of reaching towards increased self-awareness of body and soul. Our philosophical goal is to educate both performers and audiences by creating positive feelings and thoughts via classical chamber music.  Our hope is that this would have lasting impact and propagate in space and time, enriching our lives individually and as a society. Our practical goal is to entertain our audiences in a fun and lively environment so that this special repertoire can be enjoyed to its fullest potential. Representing over 20 years of collaboration, the Aloha Piano Quartet was formally founded on June 21, 2012, and performs quarterly throughout the year.
